Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers clean and spacious rooms that are very comfortable, providing a serene stay for guests. While the room's view doesn't directly overlook the taxi drop-off, the front restaurant adds to the pleasant atmosphere. The service is friendly and accommodating, though there were instances of potential bias towards Muslim guests noted after a few days. The location is superb, with easy access to a lovely seaside walk and a welcoming ambiance. Dining options varied from excellent to average, with occasional chaotically maintained tables. Additional facilities enhance the overall experience, making it a good value for money stay.
The hotel rooms were so comfortable and thoughtfully planned with a sea view, making for a cozy stay. However, the value for the money we paid was not nearly satisfying, with a slight lingering smell of cigarette smoke, though the bathroom stood out for being extremely nice.
The Beach Hotel didn't initially meet my expectations as the rooms felt old and outdated. The suite had a strange wet potpourri smell and was decorated in a country style, not quite in line with the hotel's name.
The hotel had a musky smell in the rooms and the carpets were soiled, but they were equipped with helpful features like a big desk, multiple plug points, and great tea and coffee facilities, including free mineral water. The staff are all so helpful and friendly, very responsive to requests, although some were not fulfilled. The location is excellent, directly opposite Shark Pier and close to the Boardwalk/Casino, with everything within easy reach. The dining options provide a variety of choices, including the popular 'Verandah' restaurant and the elegant Ginger restaurant. Overall, the hotel offers a comfortable stay with excellent service and convenient facilities.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were equipped with a balcony, a big desk, multiple plug points, and great tea and coffee facilities. However, the decor felt a bit outdated and could use a refresh. The AC worked great, and there was ample parking available on-site. The service was top-notch, with all staff being professional, helpful, and very friendly. The location was ideal for the workshop I attended, and the proximity to the beach was a real bonus. The dining options were varied and delicious, though there was a slight delay in receiving my order. The facilities were well-maintained and convenient, making my stay truly enjoyable.
Staying at the hotel was a mix of amazing views of Hobie Beach from my lovely balcony in the Honeymoon Suite, but the inconvenience of some malfunctioning amenities not befitting of a 4-star establishment. The location across the road from the beach and close proximity to dining options elevated the experience.
